Thud! Life, Literature and Microsoft

Sorry for the lack of updates guys, I've been busy trying out some new Internet bits and bobs that I will let you know about soon, and also I've been reading the new Discworld, (Terry Pratchett), book Thud!
The 34th Discworld novel, is about the inter-species hatred between the trolls and the dwarves of the Discworld, who have for 30 books and many centuries accused each other of having made an ambush at the legendary battle of Koom Valley. Anyway, round-up of news, spoke to Gary last night, he's been trying Windows Vista, apparently its very good, but as the legendary blog paulstamatiou.com reports, Windows are already working on Windows Vienna,
"While Windows Vista is intended to be a technologies-based release, with some UI changes (in the form of the Aero set of technologies and guidelines), Vienna is targeted directly at revolutionizing the way we interact with our home and office PCs."
So all sounds fun there. I managed to get hold of a beta account for NewsVine, and I've been playing with an online music streaming service too- both of which I will comment on in the next few days.
Meanwhile, in the final titbit of news- all the official paperwork for this years Farnborough Airshow Radio station have been sent of to Ofcom, so I expect all of you to be tuning your radios to 106.8 from the 10th July!
