BBC Radio 1
Wednesday, 31 May 2006. Radio and Soapbox.
In order to complete my Radio Station Management assignment, I needed to listen to Radio 1 today. Now, I don't listen to BBC Radio 1 as a rule, for one very good reason: it's crap.
It is an insult to the ears. Today I listened as Scot Mills got one of his fellow cretins to phone his mum and convince her that she was required to perform on that night's Celebrity X-Factor. They then played this interview into the show. How this constitutes good radio is beyond me.
Scott Mills in the kind of person that makes you regret that sperm connecting with eggs is left to random chance.
The sooner the self obsessed turds that appear on Radio 1 are shot in the head, cut up into little bits, placed on a spaceship and blasted off into the distant wastes of deep space, the better our world will be.
