Goodbye Hotmail Internet and Microsoft
Well today I bid farewell to my Hotmail account, and moved everyone on my MSN list over to my new msn@wilcosworld address. I've been having a play with the new Hotmail, Windows Live Mail and I wasn't all that impressed, and if you are on Firefox it just isn't worth the bother.
I don't think this is the Mac, making me turn my back on Microsoft. Ok, so I will never, ever, ever buy another Microsoft product as long as I live, I love OS X. But I simply got fed up with logging into Hotmail to check my emails, why bother? I use POP3 for everything now and like RSS it just makes life so much easier.
So anyway, I decided to stop using Hotmail altogether, and that meant changing my MSN address. So I now have attached a Microsoft passport to an email address that will automatically delete any mail sent to it. So sorry guys, but you will either need to use my WilcosWorld address to contact me, or shout very loud and hope I'm close!
So if you log into MSN, and some odd address says it wants to be friends, then say yes- it is me! And for those of you who already have, you can delete my old account.
