Firefox Extensions

I have posted about the Mozilla Firefox browser frequently, and I am assuming that some of you have taken my advice because 62.25% of my visitors use a Mozilla browser, compared to 33.39% using Internet Explorer. Anyway, one of the features of Firefox is extensions, extra functions that you can add to Firefox.

So for those of you who have Firefox and want to do more with it, or don't have it yet- here are my top 6 extensions, (it was going to be 5 but I found another one).

  • Adblock
Blocks adverts, popups, banners- you name it. You should not be online without it.
  • IE View
Because some web designers insist on submitting to Microsoft's corporate behemoth you sometimes need this to view a website under Internet Explorer.
  • FoxyTunes
Control Winamp, (or your digital music player of choice), from within your browser.
  • Gmail Notifier
Check your Gmail inbox and keep an eye on POP3.
  • PDF Download
Lets you view PDF files as though it were an HTML document- very handy.
  • Bookmarks Synchronizer
The best of the best- lets you backup your bookmarks automatically to a server.
